the little toe isn't as bad to hurt as the big toe, you don't use the little one when you generate power with your feet. when you push off it's the big toe. but i don't think it's an excuse for him to lose that fight to Wlad, he threw punches but never went for it. if your toe hurts it's going to hurt period. how could he go 12 rounds and push off if it's that bad? i think he just didn't want to open himself up for any big shots. that dude trying to flop tells you he wasn't in the ring to win the fight.

That's what I am saying. With Haye it was the little toe as well so when it happened to me I went out of my way to do the kind of exercises and movements that he would have had to make in a fight, hit a heavy bag etc and although it was painful at times it wasn't prohibitively painful.

i forgot what toe it's lol. i never bought it though. even if he did have problems pushing off he could just use his upper body more. he didn't have to knock Wlad out, all he'd to do was land shots. he collected a check and didn't want to take more risks.
