This is what I loved about Mike Tyson's finale to his career. You would have thought that if anyone could be pushed to continue fighting well past his use by date and rack up many losses to bums, it would be Tyson.
After the McBride loss, he said he would stop fighting as he didn't want to disrespect the sport by losing to this type of caliber of opponents.
It was one of my favourite post fight interviews on a sad night. I really like what Tyson said after that loss and that statement has got even better as he has stuck to his word which many fighters struggle to do.
