Interesting ESPN off-season event tomorrow night. I'm a little surprised that Tarver-Banks isn't the main event over Austin Trout vs. Luis Grajeda. Decent card top to bottom so it's a shame that only a couple of fights will make it to television. A good friend of mine, Mike Sheppard, is on the card against undefeated prospect Gerald Washington. Mike just fought, and won, on our November 22nd show here in West Virginia so he's been active, but he didn't exactly have a full six-week camp to prep for Washington. Throwing him some notes tonight, hoping he can get in there and give a good showing. Washington is not a prospect that really impresses me a lot.
