Ariza used to work with Pac but that dude is a ho. I don't know how Arum could be blamed for wanting to see some money for such a big fight either. Floyd has been lowballing Pac. Remember how he offered him 30 mil flat before Pac got stopped? Pac was making that against anyone Arum could get in there with him. Now it's a better deal but Arum knows Floyd doesn't have enough going on to make those demands since he's no real opponents, had to rematch Maidana and might lose cinco de mayo to Canelo. He knows Floyd needs them and Pac will do a lot to sell the fight. It's not so much that I believed the content of what Ariza was saying more that he was saying that the fight most probably won't happen and that I happen to believe came with the stamp of approval from Floyd. Almost like Floyd is getting ready with his excuses as to why the fight won't happen, which leads me to think that negotiations in reality haven't moved much at all. A lot of other sites are saying that the fight is about to be signed whereas you have a guy like Ariza who I don't believe would have done that interview without Floyd's approval talking to Floyd's go-to site that this fight isn't gonna get signed. I think that is telling. “Shakespeare? I ain’t never hoid of him. He’s not in no ratings. I suppose he’s one of them foreign heavyweights. They’re all lousy. Sure as hell I’ll moider dat bum.”—Tony Galento |
