Vargas mixes in uppercuts with right hooks and the classic double left hook. His offense is quite varied. If anyone was lamenting the lack of old school Mexican pressure fighters, well here's your guy. He should be a bigger name than what he is now, considering the skill he displays while being entertaining.

Caught this fight last night. Will Tomlison is one of the top aussie prospects and has shown to be a pretty solid, tough fighter. Tomlison is a tough fighter who got in some nice shots but Vargas (who I was unaware stopped Juanma) was just tougher. Showed to be a pretty solid fighter in this bout who was strong, tough and put down some hurt on Tomlison until he was busted and beaten. Solid fight and win.
