The reason he has only fought mediocre MW's is because the last 3 lineal champs have all blatantly ducked him. Bear in mind these are fellow professionals and all of them have given him the eyeball test and decided to pass. That tells me something right there. As for getting tagged, Golovkin as soon as he knows your power can't hurt you is prepared to take a punch to throw a punch................Mexican style!! Take a look at the one guy he fought whose power he was a little leery of and that was Curtis Stevens. He was defensively very sound in that fight. Triple G knows when he needs to be slippery, but if he don't respect you then yeah he throws caution to the wind, just like all those other great Mexican fighters before him. Ward may beat him, I'd bet on Ward if they were to fight but I'd also argue heavily that there is no way in hell he 'Dawson's' him.
