RE: Things not thread worthy
He's good at 160 but that isn't saying as much as Ward was good at 168. Golovkin has fought Allan Greens and no Carl Froch or Mikkel Kessler level of fighters. With Cotto and Canelo they were paper champs at best, guys that want the belt but not to be a champion. And I think it made more sense for Golovkin to move up than Ward.
But there's got to be a reason he started talking about Ward not having a name whenever Ward told him to put up or shut up. And whenever some Kazakh dude is pretending to be Mexican he's already living a lie, maybe as big of a lie as Sanchez was hyping him up with of being the best 160-175. One of them, Ward, is actually doing something at 168 and 175. What's Golovkin doing, being a -1,000 favorite until Canelo is 40 and ready to fight at 160? Ward has his number and he knows it |
