Canelo has that Mexican pride, I think it will push him into the fight. He won't want to vacate his title, even if it is a joke of a title in the first place given he has never even fought at the middleweight limit.

Time will tell. De La Hoya originally said the fight wouldn't happen for a couple of years, now he is out saying it could happen in the fall. I think Golden Boy has already rolled over to Canelo on this one.

Canelo said it himself tonight! The fight is on!
