Bud is awesome, but let's not let wins over Molina and Diaz flatter him.


He's yet to face anyone on a level of Shawn Porter or Danny Garcia yet, which Thurman obviously has. Gamboa was the closest thing, but he was faded, outsized and that was down at lightweight...which is, of course, a massive difference between a huge, fast, clever welterweight like One Time.


I'm not saying Thurman is better, just that he is a bigger guy who has proved more. I always go with tried and tested over mere potential.
