I find the money excuse to be paper thin. Yeah, it makes financial sense. I think some of us (a dying breed, it would seem) still look for fighters who love the fight game, and want to carve out a career that is worth respecting. Give me an Evander Holyfield, Bernard Hopkins, or James Toney over your Floyd Mayweathers of the world any day.

They don't call him out because Connie Mac has the biggest balls in the boxing world, and he ain't even a boxer. These boxers today talk like gangsters and fight like bankers. It's fucking pathetic. Even when they do finally put a big fighter together, it's happened because one of the fighters is over the hill or being forced to suck down to a smaller weight class.
