Man, 135 could get hot soon. Young guys like Lopez coming up, Haney, Tank will move up no doubt, Mikey Garcia coming back down, Loma.
Talking about Loma, terrible fight against Pedraza. I'm not sure how much the operation affected Loma, but I do think Pedraza was also posing a style issue. He is an amateur world championship silver medalist, has awkward head movement, throws a lot of punches particularly as you are firing, all the types of things that disrupt Loma's rhythm (the firing at the same time from Linares had the same effect on Loma). At least Floyd may feel comfortable enough to put Tank in with Loma now! |
