I would say that I think the heavyweight division is deeper and better than the Wlad era.

Wlad was obviously a great champion and all, but, Haye and Povetkin aside, some of those challengers were real bargain bucket, bottom of the barrel, end of the aisle tomato cans.

At least now we have a modicum of decent non-champion contenders such as Wilder, Ruiz and Whyte. Ten years ago we have Andrew Warwczyk, Alex Leapai and Francesco Pianeta.
