Both men fought at 147, 154 & 160. How did each fighter carry the weight in each division and how different would have those fights looked if they fought in those divisions if at all?
Who takes these fights and how would they look? (3 votes available) |

It would start & end with a left hook & it would be ugly.

I think Tito deff takes 147.. takes 54... And possibly 160 but ide give the edge to Williams and his output at the heavier weight. Tito would KO him pretty nasty tho.

Tito at all three...but only just at middleweight.
Tito was an ATG at welter, plus had some great wins at jr middle and middle. Williams had ONE title fight and got KO'd in 2. No contest really, but his extra bulk at 160 would help him seeing that Tito got fleshier and fleshier as he moved up. Black |

Give me Tito at 147 and Williams at 154 and 160.
Tito would do best against him at 147 but even then I'm not overly confident. |

Trinidad may be the greater and a better fighter but I think Williams has an easier time handling Trinidad then Trinidad handling Williams. Quintana, Martinez and Lara all give Williams trouble, Trinidad is far from being like those fighters!
Trinidad takes it at 147 due to cleaner shots, 154 is a very close one, but Williams outworks Trinidad and hurts him in the process at 160. (my vote for Williams didn't go through and can't add it now). Williams seemed closer to himself when moving up than Trinidad, he carried the weight better and didn't lose that workrate of his! Trinidad may have had more power but is also vulnrable & Williams takes a much better shot than Tito! These would have been some exciting fights! |

Fitz Wrote:Give me Tito at 147 and Williams at 154 and 160.Pretty much what I was thinking. We have to assume that this is a PWIll pre-Martinez. PWill would flood Trinidad with activity on his way to a UD or late stoppage... At 147, Trinidad hit like a sack of bricks and PWilly always appeared a bit drained at that weight. I can certainly see Trinidad landing a left hook flush on the chin and ending PWIll at this weight. |

I see Trinidad being able to stop him at all three. Paul just gets hit too much and one Trinidad bomb can end it for anyone. Work rate is always an issue when fighting Williams. Williams to me isn't the type of guy who troubles Trinidad, i think its the other way around. Trinidad by savage KO

i don't think Williams stands a chance against any of the elite fighters that had enough size to go through those divisions.

Paul Williams is hittable...Trinidad is heavy handed and accurate.
Paul Williams loses at all 3 weights. |
