I personally think Wilder deserves some, but not a lot of credit, and his power is all time level.

But I do remember a bizarre amount of credit being given to him when he was getting rinsed by Luis Ortiz prior to landing one big shot. Folk started claiming that he was boxing clever, biding him time etc etc. He was more puzzled than a drunk Mayflower doing a sudoku in the dark.
