A light heavyweight world championship showdown has been confirmed for August 11 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada, when undefeated IBF light heavyweight champion Tavoris Cloud (24-0, 19 KOs), of Tallahassee, Fla., defends his title against popular hometown favorite and former WBC light heavyweight titleholder Jean Pascal (26-2-1, 16 KOs). The co-feature will match budding Canadian knockout artist Adonis ?Superman? Stevenson, (18-1, 15 KOs) of Montreal against an opponent to be announced in a super middleweight bout. Showtime will televise.

Nice fight, reckon Pascal will move clear on points but as the fight progresses he'll typically gas and it'll be a question of whether or not he's far enough ahead to take a decision. Can't see a stoppage in this fight. Despite his good KO percentage I don't really rate Cloud's power that much.

I see Pascal taking an early lead, but jumping on his bicycle and throwing less when he feels Cloud's power.

Hopkins showed how easy it is to get in Pascal's head. A few hard shots from Cloud should make Pascal rethink his desire to stay in the ring with him.

That's how I see it too. Pascal dominates a lot of the early exchanges with his speed, but Cloud's power and determination take over the fight in the middle rounds and don't let up.

Cloud sucks. Pascal is dumb. It's a toss up. Pascal UD with some scary moments down the stretch.

Pascal has the faster hands, while Cloud has the edge in stamina. Like Dmarv said, neither guy is a great technician, so it should be a fun fight for as long as it lasts.
