I know he had a successful solo career, but I never thought of him in that regard. Speaking of tag teams, I'd love to see some lists of those too. One of my favorites was Demolition, even though they are thought of as a Road Warriors clone...Hawk and Animal HAVE to be at the top of everyone's list.

I look at Bret Hart much more than just a better half of a great tag team. I think he was one of the few that was able to break away from a great tag team and continue a great solo career under the same character.

What are your thoughts on Shawn Michaels as a solo? I'm just asking because he was similar to Bret Hart (though the Rockers not as great) where he started out as one of the popular tag teams and broke out from that in the early 90's and has since been a singles wrestler for most of the time.

I liked Hart as well, but he had the prototypical generic wrestler body that you mentioned earlier with Sting. I used to believe, and still do, that that body type was the most suited for the kind of technical wrestling that Hart, Flair, Sting, and Michaels excelled at.

*And by prototypical wrestler body, I meant the typical wrestler body before they were strung out on the gear that these guys today are on. I think Hart, Michaels, and Sting were pretty clean most of their career as far as enhancement goes. Flair I think was on something in the 80s, but that's unsubstantiated assumption on my part.
