I remember SD Jones. When I first got into wrestling around 85-86 he was one of the higher level face jobbers. Bundy at WM1 excepted, the heels generally wouldn't completely squash him - SD would manage to get in a few moves of his own before succumbing to their finishers. Same with Leaping Lanny Poffo. I know people remember this guy. Used to read poems talking smack about his opponents before getting his ass kicked. My friends and I had a lot of fun making fun of him, doing poems where he would start quivering with desire for another wrestler and stuff like that. Hard to believe that homo was Macho Man's brother.

Anyone else cobble together their own league when they were kids? My friends and I created IWF. We had a spoof character of Poffo - a gay wrestler named Sweet Peaches McCloud. He never actually wrestled of course cause no one wanted to be him, but we had a lot of fun imagining his matches. Another jobber we created was Boxing Bobby Brown, a young upstart who didn't realize he was a wrestler and not a boxer and would come to the ring with gloves and a robe. He would get thrown around by his opponent and then always start landing a few jabs and doing bolos and shit until his opponent waxed him for good. Fun stuff.

Dude, there was nothing gay about the Luscious Leg lock. Fucking shit had fools in tears. As I type this and think about it, perhaps that wear and tear on my bro's leg is why his ACL/MCL blew out playing high school QB.
