I've watched Wrestlemania I and II in the last week. I've downloaded all the major 4 wrestling events (Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summerslam and Survivor Series) up until about 1996.

I just loved the old school wrestlers. Hogan vs King Kong Bundy in a steel cage was the main event for Wrestlemania 2, and it wasn't a very good match either. But I still find it so good, even though it can be quite bad, lol.
It could be just because I'm bias, but the characters were just so much more unique back then. Everyone seems too generic these days.

I also found myself laughing at some parts, with how much more relaxed things were back then. In the opening match of Wrestlemania 2 when watching Mr Wonderful Paul Orndorff vs Don Muraco, Mr Wonderful was taunting Mr Fuji by pulling his eyes back like a chink, and mocking him, lol.
Rowdy Piper when talking about Mr T said something about him never shaving his head like a native indian and painting himself black, lol.
You also gotta love the trolling the heels do. The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff were a tag team, and the Sheik is on the mic and says "Russia #1, Iran #1.........USA....*spits*".

God I love old school wrestling. Even if wrestling can be a trashy kind of viewing.
