Bret Hart became my favourite when he became a singles wrestler, though I grew to like him as a tag team with Neidhart as well. The Hart Foundation were my favourite tag team after LOD.
What I did love about the Hitman was the look. Loved the leather jacket, entrance music and the sunnies. How he used to always give his sunnies to a kid before a match was awesome to me. I always wished that it could have been me lol.
I also loved the sharpshooter and was the best submission move at the time. Leading up to that time, some of the popular submission moves was the Boston crab, sleep hold, figure four etc. The traditional ones. To me at the time, the sharpshooter was the shit.
I also loved the signature moves he used to perform leading up to it. The Russian leg sweep, pendulum back breaker, elbow drive off the 2nd rope and coming up to the sharpshooter.

I also appreciated good wrestling abilities as well at the time, Bret Hart vs Mr Perfect at Summerslam 1991 was my favourite match I had seen. This was when Bret Hart became my favourite wrestler. What a great match that was. Both one of the best technical wrestlers and man, I loved Mr Perfect as well. He was such a good heel. He also could have been so much more if he wasn't injury prone.
