I know, just fuckin' with you. Perhaps your inability to recognize sarcasm comes from Republican budget cuts to education.

Um, that link has nothing to do with grants. Do you know the difference between a grant and a loan? If not, I blame Republican cuts to education.

Yes it's for loans, damn dude, I thought it was a combo loans and grants but I didn't remember everything word for word! This story is still rather amazing. It kinda reminds me of how healthcare cost really stated going up in 1965 due to Medicaid and Medicare. It's still a lot of money no matter what.

Do you even know what a grant is? How can the government make money off giving money away? That's beyond stupid. Confused

There are a lot of reasons healthcare costs have gone up over the past 50 years world-wide. Blaming Medicare and Medicaid is a naive and simplistic response, especially when healthcare costs so much less in countries where collectivization has allowed the bargaining for cheaper medical services, often with better health results.

I didn't blame it on it...I said it reminded me of it. And honestly things go up generally when government gets involved in anything. I know what a grant is too.

I thought the was all after grants which would make the numbers that much more amazing.

RE: Politics Unfiltered
Really? Then how come in countries where the government is more involved in healthcare, healthcare is cheaper and more effective?

You talk out your ass dude! None are cheaper and more effective. And btw What is an "accredited" homeschooling curriculum? Total nonsense. You are full of shit.

RE: Politics Unfiltered
We covered America's failure compared to countries with socialized medicine about 50 pages ago.

Most homeschool curricula are accredited, meaning that they meet state and local standards for what they teach. The Paul/North curriculum does not meet state and local standards in any state. It's created by a right-wing, religious loon, and unsuitable for any child, in my professional opinion. Remember, I make my living working with homeschool students. I'm not talking out of my ass, Mr. I Don't Know What a Grant Is.

My bad. Closer to 80 pages ago:

I will admit that I couldn't find stats on satisfaction with health care, but if you can show that Americans are more satisfied with their care than any other country, or even more than countries with universal health care, please feel free to add them here.
