and that was last year when I was completely out of Drinking Shape...

That's the difference....drinking that much of a variety and being cool...maintaining and aware, never blacking out.

I am so up and down with how much I can drink.

I don't drink much anyway...a glass of wine a week perhaps.

If I'm relaxing at home and I decide to have a glass of wine, I'll usually be tipsy off one glass. No joke. My girlfriend finds it hilarious.

However, if I'm ready for a big night out, I can handle drink pretty well. I never drink to the point of being wrecked and not knowing what's happening...as I near that point I stop, but considering I can get drunk off a glass of wine, I can drink a far amount before I call it quits.

I think it has so much to do with your mental outlook on it.

I do not, and will never claim to be able to maintain my cool while ingesting copious amounts of alcohol. Booze and me tend to end the night either fighting or sleeping. Beer on the other hand...I can drink beer ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT til the sun comes up. That has never been a problem for me. Once I start doing shots of Patron though, it's only a matter of time until the wheels fall off.

Patron is a fantastic drunk for me. Patron shots and beer used to be my standby...though the last time I got mangled with Patron, I attempted to unfreeze a lock by kicking the key in to "break up the frozen parts"...it was a disastrous result.

I think that was me when I had a big night on a bunch of sedatives & opiates. I passed out & woke up hanging by my pinky finger from the door & that little fucker was supporting all my weight. My finger still gets sore from that occasionally & my friend still laughs at how my impression was left on her door. Full face profile sliding down the glass.

I have never ever shit myself drinking. I did have a friend who had a habit of pulling a trifecta (piss, shit & spew yourself) on occasion & it was not pretty.

I know this is a generelisation, but iv never met an american who shares the same drinking culture as we have over here. You guys just cant binge like us. its a fact of life. iv told u before, scotland is p4p. Iv been schooled in drinking from the age of 14. I am a fucking thouroughbred.

I don't doubt that what lloyd says is true. Those scottish and irish blokes are some drunk-ass bastards. The only other people that could probably give them a run are those mexicans passed out under a tree with a bottle of tequila.

Haha fuck them! Gettin drunk on tequila is a cop out! I prefer liver destruction by slow, full day long consumption of lager then get the spirits out one your so full of lager bubbles are coming out your nose! Thats a real sport!
