I got it. But Stiverne went 12 with Wilder. We agree on that.

Both of those statements are true JD, but my statement was talking in terms of the individual fighters, not the individual fights.

I completely agree Ollie.. but i honestly dont think Wilder is pricing himself out... i think he's starting at 50-50 to get a better share then someone like Joe is getting, which i think we can agree Wilder probably deserves a little more then Joe... i think 55-45 or 60-40 in AJs favor is fair. 65-35 would he too much imo.

What do you guys think would be a fair split?

I would say 40% Jon. he got a nice win of Ortiz but as I say he will have 1 belt and AJ will likely have 3. Then you have to get into the economics of it, AJ generates so much more in revenue. So for me 60/40 and not a penny more. 62/38 and even 65/35 all represents fair deals for Wilder.

60 / 40...fight is in Wembley.

He went back on 5050 last month. Never knew he conceded it. In my opinion the big problem with the fight is location and the opportunities AJ has.

He didnt concede it bro but i think he's willing to budge...

Brother, thats like me being willing to budge on Bill Gates making more money than me. AJ would be stupid to give him anything over 40% and the longer it takes this to get signed the more this slips away from Wilder. He'll be older more reliant on his unorthdox style. If he windmills worse then the goverment might even give him some green energy tax credits.

Best thing for him is to keep pushing that whatever deal he gets now is what AJ takes in a rematch. If he's lucky enough to beat him he'll get a massive boost in earnings in both fights and can Wlad it out until he gets too old to keep winning.

If Wilder gets past Joshua he could be on his way to surpassing Marciano's record and Vitali's career KO%..
Whoever wins against Wilder & AJ will most likely rule the divisions for years.

Wilder is 32 and extremely vulnerable - but his power has managed to overcome those vulnerabilities to now.

Best case for the heavyweight division is a Joshua win and a reign somewhat similar to Lennox Lewis.

The division is too weak for most hws to capitalize on it. I agree that his power saves him but even with it he'd be very beatable in a different era.

@Viper

Neither will rule for years. Joshua doesn't have the chin, and Wilder doesn't have the pedigree (or a very good chin.)

Wilder won't last 2 more years as a champion or top contender.
