Obviously DeMarco looked weak against Valero, and Linares is the Golden Boy fighter at a Golden Boy event, but -500 for Linares and +300 on DeMarco seems way out of wack. DeMarco is a 5'10" southpaw with a 71" reach - which is crazy for a lw.

I haven't seen DeMarco fight since the Valero match and the fact that Golden Boy is giving Linares such a big opportunity to shine should be a major red flag against putting any money on DeMarco, but +300 is damn tough to ignore.

Is there anything I don't know about DeMarco - drugs, divorce, broken hand ect.?

On a side note, thanks Spyder for putting this together. I assume that I'm not going to get deluged with spam.

God I hope not. I haven't registered the page with any search engine...not even invisionfree search...so the only way I know how to get to the board is through the link.

As far as DeMarco, I haven't heard anything negative about him. He starched Daniel Attah after losing to Valero...I think he fought someone else since then too.

Heya, Sal...

DeMarco is actually better than he seemed against Valero...he just freaked out after that cut put Valero in Beast Mode...

It's possible he's learned from that and feels good about himself nowadays...I don't consider him a bad gamble here...

Linares is such a smooth boxer though. I think he's a level above DeMarco, and Linares should beat DeMarco. DeMarco is solid, and he'll have his moments. He really needs to get that jab pumping, which is what he didn't do against Valero.

Hey C.E.O,

your keyboard to my sportsbook.com account. I think this could end up being a real redemption kind of fight for DeMarco if he just decides to either win or go out like a Mexican.

lol...well I surely hope you hit it then...

Linares had that Khanesque exposal, and DeMarco ain't no joke...he can box, but he's a REAL Mexican at his core too...that Courage and Heart is there...he was a bit young against Valero...

Expecting some action and drama in this one...

I always had a soft spot for Malignaggi...kid is done beyond done, but tough as nails.

Going into that Cotto fight he was going to a nuclear war armed with a paperclip and a rubberband...and he still tried to fight off that warhead.

Fuck...I wasn't gonna gamble tonight...but you flicked my switch...lol

Just looked up a $50 parlay on DeMarco and Dawson...pays $300...add Holt in there, it goes to $670...add Arce, and it goes to $1700...lol

Don't know Hugo Ruiz, Holt is downhill, Garcia is hot, bet AGAINST Hopkins?...

what to do...

Yeah, I think anyone who could watch Cotto-Malignaggi and not have a soft spot for Malignaggi isn't a real fan. Quoting Kubrick: "he is someone about whom there is no question."

How much fun would he have been to watch if he had had ko power?
