DLH was just fighting to keep his company going when he fought Floyd. Cotto was a new man when he fought Floyd and won 3 rounds at best. Had DLH kept jabbing it'd have been very winnable for him.

Another thing is DLH fought the real mw champ, Hopkins. He's more of a mw than Cotto for that alone.

You're sliding. Either or, DLH loses to Cotto at Middleweight & no, Geale was not as good as Sturm.

Sliding? DLH fought mw champs at 160, Cotto fought below 160 against weaker opponents. Floyd is their only common opponent from their relative prime and DLH peformed better. DLH had a better career and was a better fighter.

Ive a hard time seeing any version of Cotto beat any version of DLH other than the DLH that fought Pac.
