Nah..I was mega disappointed that Youtube only released the 1st episode available and every other episode in S2 is just a trailer lol. I got Fitz who will hopefully hook me up with season 2. The 1st episode was solid. I feel the series so far is easy, fun watching. I'll probably rewatch The Karate Kid III this weekend..rewatched the others based on the show and hadn't actually seen them since I was a kid haha

Finished watching all of season 2 of Cobra Kai! Great season and great series!
Season 2 kinda added a bit more cheese to it, but was still decent (80's) cheese! I do like how they do embrace the 80's with the soundtrack they have! Johnny gets even better in s2..I find it hilarious how he will all of a sudden snap it at his class lol. Funny moment is when he is taking a call from a potential client and you hear Johnny confirm that they do teach both boys & girls..after seeing Johnny face change to the callers response as you hear Johnny with a confused face saying "..gender what!?..HEY..is this a prank call!?!"  I feel s2 was funnier than the first..it didn't take very long for "Stingray" to win me over too!!! Pretty unexpected darkish finish.. |

There were moments that were cheesy and unbelievable, but given the nature and demographic targeting of the show, I had zero problem with it. And the parts that were touching were actually really touching, like the last conversation between Johnny and his friend out at the camp ground.
The script and comedic timing were brilliant IMO, and the political statements its making are great, like when Kreese says something along the lines of kids nowadays being raised as pussies and then runs into the kid wearing "The Future is Feminine" t-shirt. LOL. Fucking great. Ditto on the ending. I didn't really see that coming and it was shocking like how GoT used to shock me. All heart. That's what most little guys are. But that counts for a lot. The cheese was thick, and at times it felt like one of those teenage Disney shows. Zabka really carries the show though, and he makes it worth watching.
