Comparing Fury-Klitschko/Fury-Wilder II
Both Fury's wins over Wladamir & Deontay have been his biggest & best wins of The Gypsy King's career.
Which is his greatest victory, which performance was better & which version of Fury matches up better against other past & present Heavyweights? I say the Wlad win is more historical where as the Wilder win may be more monumental. Although Wlad is the more greater & skilled fighter than Wilder I feel the fact Wilder was in his prime, undefeated & lost in more shocking & clear manner edges the Wlad fight as the greater win. However feel the version of Fury that beat Wlad matches up better than the version of Fury that beat Wilder against other HW's. |

In hindsight, was Wlad really off that night? Or did we just not realize/appreciate Fury's skill and ability at the time?

Wlad was a shell... we saw that even before his fight with Jennings.

RE: Comparing Fury-Klitschko/Fury-Wilder II
The Wlad win was a more technically impressive performance, but carries a slight asterisk because of Wlad's form at the time of the fight.
The Wilder win was much more exciting and felt a bigger fight than the Klitschko fight but also carries an asterisk due to the historical standing of Wilder's ability. History will probably remember the Wilder fight more fondly. It was just an immense and dramatic night for boxing. The Klit fight was dull and stolid in comparison. Black |

Wlad was past it but still an incredible fighter. Fury managed to get in his head and take advantage of wlad beingvthe smaller guy. Wlad wasn't used to being in his opponent's range in order to land. It was a lack luster but brilliant fight between two masterful technicians. The wilder fight was a drubbing.

I fucked around about him beating Wlad but Fury has had a weird career. He's the big awkward guy that punched himself in the face up until beating Wlad.

RE: Comparing Fury-Klitschko/Fury-Wilder II
I always fancied Fury to beat Wlad.
Wlad had looked awful against Bryant Jennings. Bored and aloof. Fury didnt even box to his full potential that night. As confident a guy as he is, he was still slightly unsure of his credentials at world title level and played it safe for the majority of the fight, even after realising Klitschko had nothing for him. The Fury that beat up Wilder would have crushed the Wlad of Nov '15. Black |

RE: Comparing Fury-Klitschko/Fury-Wilder II
How would the Fury that stopped Wilder fair up against the version of Wlad that fought AJ & AJ? All 3 mens most aggressive nights..
