I work with a lot of Brits, so I get to hear bullocks on almost a daily basis. Never heard bonza before...how is it used?

Bonza means good/excellent etc but is rarely used these days. I think one of the funny things about Australia is how cunt is a universally used word to describe almost anything. From greeting a mate to describing your day to insulting someone. |

"That's bonza!!"
Australia has a lot of funny ones!! As for the word 'cunt'? That is pretty heavily used like it's nothing. I found out when I went to the states how bad that word really is to many. It took me a couple of stunned/offended looks from others to realize that Australians have bad mouths lol! |

Yeah, I never hear 'bonza' must've been before my time.
But I agree with 'cunt', I use it so much and people use it a lot here as well. Even if someone says something funny, I might be like "haha, funny cunt", or "this cunt" if someone says something mildy inappropriate or knocks you or something, though it's not an aggressive use of it when directing it. More like "hey, watch it", lol. I've always liked it when older people talk about the hookers, brothels etc. They call brothels a "knock shop". Haha |
