If not could this be implemented or would it be against the constitutional right to bare arms?

Maxy, I don't disagree with anything you've said here. I don't think it would be unconstitutional to really ratchet up the background checks and investigative procedures for people who want to buy guns but have been put on a no-fly list or investigated by the FBI for possible links to terrorism. I mean, I'm the biggest 2nd amendment rights person on this board, but we've got to have some common fucking sense about this shit. There's got to be a happy medium between law abiding citizens being able to get guns, and setting up a more strenuous system to vet people like Mateen, who have raised red flags in their past.

Every State handles it different but they essentially do a baccground checc. They see if you ever been crazy or had a weapons charge, felonies, etc.

But in some states like Texas, you can walk out with a gun in 5mins.

RE: Politics Unfiltered
The biggest problem with all of this is, as always, leftist progressive assholes. Their ultimate goal is to do away with the 2nd amendment, and everybody knows it. That's why conservatives won't budge even an inch on the gun issue.

If the Left were capable of compromise of any kind, congress could've gotten legislation passed on this long ago. But the Left are ideological tyrants, and conservatives know if they give up any ground whatsoever, the Left will take it and a whole lot more.

Man, I've fucking hated Obama. It really isn't political for me either, I don't vote. He's just a bitch.

Maxy, he wasn't charged with anything. He's investigated. I think people like him need their citizenship revoked.

And you've got idiots who want to put MORe power in the hands of these idiots: http://www.dailywire.com/news/6583/disne...benshapiro

The government is incompetent. Pure and simple. Any move that serves to cede our power and increase theirs is another step in the march to oblivion.

Interesting Gravy, since this man was born in NYC, would revoking of citizenship apply to all Americans or how many generations do you need to get past that?

I only ask as unless you are Native America, you are an immigrant

Anyone convicted of violent Islamic terrorism, or actively engaging in aiding or abetting those involved in it (including foreknowledge of impending incidents) should be stripped of citizenship and shipped off to Guantanamo Bay. I think that is probably what he was alluding to.

It isn't because he's the son of an immigrant or Muslim. Identifying with a group we've been at war with for over a decade is. Why even live here when you resent your country so much?

What about violent crimes in the name of Christianity? Or violent crimes in the name of making a profit? Do 3rd gen mafioso get sent back to Italy?

Come on guys lets be real here. Do I agree with the sentiment? Of course I do. If theres so many people want to fight in Syria agaisnt Assad and the Western infidels, lets charter them a fucking flight.

But its not realistic is it?

And gravy as to the why live here/there? Simple... Have cake, eat it.

I guess so, Lloyd. I don't think Iraq has quite as many gay dating apps. I think that alone would be too barbaric of a punishment.
