So....Rees vs Broner
and the NEW Wrote:Fukc yeh, what a start by Gavin. Broner the next Floyd Mayweather, ha ha ha. Nowhere near as sharp, no legs either. He relies on a shell and power. I honestly think Vasquez may beat him with his in and out rangy box and move style.
Yeah, the comparisons to PBF have been abundant, but Broner hasn't yet proven that the defensive ability matches up.

Rees wins rounds 1 and 2.

Broners defense is ovverated, lol. They think it's good just because the stance is like Floyd's, lol.

He is getting hit cleanly and very easily.

The commentators are all over Broner's dick tonight. They were also all over Ward's balls earlier in the night, and he wasn't even fighting.

Broner is now starting to take over in this fight. Dropped him with an uppercut in the 4th

Referee stops it with Broner stepping up from the 3rd round. He was fighting a midget in there tonight.

Broner is skilled but I think the Mayweather comparisons need to stop. His power, more than anything, is what bails him out.

Asks him on the winner of Vazquez vs Burns and his Floyd Mayweather response......."who are those guys?".

Ironically, he knew who Rees was (15th rated fighter for his title) and chose him over Vazquez, lol.

He isn't very original.

So....Rees vs Broner
The more I watch Broner, the more they are just taylor making matchups for him, just like they did for Pac.

They are giving him small guys or guys who come straight at him, perfect for a guy like James Toney, who can soak up an assault and then dish it back (plus Broners power makes this even more effective).

But the guy barely uses his legs and doesn't look sharp at all going forward unless he stands right infront of a guy.

They will keep Broner away from slick boxers at all costs and lucky for him, there aren't many around 130-140.

Why not Mayweather Jr Jr against Khan next? I'd love to see how this man child fares against the best guys at 140
