You know...for us...as in older people...it is bizarre...but for the younger generation...it's normal.

It's VERY, VERY strange. The reason I can speak a bit about it is because being my age late 30's and still single...it forces you to be on the dating scene with younger people....which means a lot of on-line dating and the like...and so you see it first hand.

The disconnection between people at that age is astounding....so much so, that for me...yeah...this story makes sense...even though personally I find it hard to believe....seeing how they are now...it's not a real surprise.

There are people that consider themsleves "in a relationship" with somebody on-line....often a person they have never met before.

I have actually seen women change their status on dating sites to "I'm seeing someone now"....and 3 days later "I'm single again"...lol WTF????

REALLY...what could have happened in the span of 5 days to make you meet somebody, get into a "relationship" with them and break up???

It's really insane...we have a nation of perfect physical spicimens both male and female that have the drive and determination to get themselves in to the shape that demands they take mirror shots of themsleves half naked....YET...they remain single because they cannot accept the flaws of others and more to the point REFUSE to accept anything less than what they have allowed the media to ingrain in their head as perfection....

So...if this "girlfreind" was somebody that used super hot pics of a chick to lure this guy in....he fell for it and most likely really THOUGHT he was in a relationship....

It' so fucked up out there....I would not wish today's single dating scene on my worst enemy.

I actually found the dating scene pretty easy...that was only 5-6 years ago...it seems even easier now. Most of the time I have to be a complete dick to girls when I'm out just so they don't think that I'm going to fuck them. The last thing I need is some done up skank giving me eyes and my wife blaming me for inviting it. lol

Well. I was in it 5 years ago and still am....and trust me man...it's awful. You would not think that short amount of time would see things go so terribly wrong....but it has.

Now....don't get me wrong...getting them to screw you is not hard at all....it's the opposite. Trying to find a decent girl when you are ready to settle down...THAT is the challenge. Some of these whores might as well be in porn..at the very least they would get paid.

I was serious in a past thread when I said I have started dating ONLY non-American women. Right now I have a wonderful girl I'm seeing and I would consider selling my soul to not fuck it up.
