Bottom line:

Butterbean could take a good punch. Kimbo can't. Every time Kimbo gets hit with something solid, he wobbles. It sounds completely bizarre but Butterbean actually had some subtly decent defense at times. Granted, the level of opposition wasn't much outside of the ten-rounder with Holmes and the one-round stoppage over Peter McNeeley (just sit and think about the fact that McNeeley is that far above the rest....) but it was there nonetheless.
