It's a lot easier to lose 3-4 pounds at 20 years old vs 30 years old. If a guy says he can't make a certain weight and will bump up a division for his next fight and also takes 2 tries to make weight for his most recent fight, I believe him.

It's kind of like when Morales was in his 30's and had to start bumping up divisions because he had to. He was far more effective in the 120's and less effective in the 130's but that's just the way it goes.


OK, substitute 'would' for 'could' on my post and I'm happy with that!

Surprised at how Rigondeaux basically shutout Donaire. His counterpunching, movement, feints, etc were beautiful...completely outboxed Donaire. I had it 9-3 Rigo but could see it 10-2.
