Rex is garbage...but I am not sure Tebow even makes the roster.
2 years, $0 guaranteed. |

RE: No longer a Jets fan
Tim is not some unknown player. He is not coming back from an injury in need of being evaluated. Belichick and McDaniels know exactly what they are getting when they signed him. If they planned on not using him, then they never would've gone through the trouble.
The difference between this situation and the ones that Tim was in at Denver and NY is that NOBODY thinks that Tim should be the starter. "And you got your own steez about you that I appreciate bro. I see it." - Snoop |

RE: No longer a Jets fan
The circus will be somewhat mitigated because he isn't even there to compete for the backup role - it's Brady and Mallet, end of discussion.
He will be used as a gadget player here and there...and in the end properly since New England actually has a good coaching staff should he make the team. I am not saying he will or won't, but there is zero downside for New England here if they choose not to burn a roster spot on him - it will cost them no money at all. Tough to gauge though, I mean, plenty of known commodities have been brought in and let go even when there was some bonus money to be paid so Tebow not making the roster wouldn't be surprising in the least. |

RE: No longer a Jets fan
Interesting article that was written BEFORE the Tebow acquisition.
