RE: Mayweather vs. Maidana Fight Week Events
He wasn't out on his feet. He certainly felt it though. The only time in the fight I felt Floyd was hurt was in the first round. Maidana landed a crushing shot to Floyd's body. That was Maidana's best punch in the entire fight. After that shot, Floyd held on for dear life. Even after the ref broke it up, Floyd started to run around a bit. He was hurt!

No he's not, he takes a Maidana right hand off the top of his head, takes a couple of steps back and resumes exactly as he was 3 seconds earlier engaging. What to you suggests that he was "out on his feet?" |

I didnt see 'out on his feet'. The closest Floyd has ever been to 'out on his feet' was in the Mosley fight and that was only borderline.

Cotto got him with some good shots, nothing to have him out on his feet though. You could tell he felt Maidana's punches.

Nah, the most hurt Floyd ever was happened against Corley. In that fight Mayweather was staggered back and was left able to only cover up for probably 20 seconds while Corley went in for the kill. Corley actually hurt/stunned Mayweather probably 4-5 times throughout the early/mid rounds of the fight, but each time he recovered fairly quickly and actually gave back better than he got because Corley would sort of punch himself out with little mini-busts of energy every time he'd see himself getting to Floyd a bit. A lot of Corley's work gets forgotten in that fight because in many of the rounds that he did well in, Mayweather answered back better (winning the rounds) but IMO Mayweather was most hurt in that fight. |

Doing a "shuffle" for a "quick sec" is VERY different than being out on your feet.

Very different...
Corley had Mayweather hurt bad. Zab also staggered Floyd with a big left when they fought but Floyd wasn't in any danger of being stopped. |
