RE: Mayweather Maidana 2
I'm not taking anything away from floyd when I say this but he has been fighting cats that play into his advantages. I think that's why it's such a shock to see him have problems with someone like that. I think he still looked good though, if Floyd really fell off then he'd have looked way worse. When Maidana eased off he's just as sharp.

RE: Mayweather Maidana 2
I hope Maidana can pull it off, but unless Floyd gets really old overnight, I don't see it happening. I think Floyd dominates him this time. History just isn't on Maidana's side.

RE: Mayweather Maidana 2
There's already a thread for this fight. In fact, you started it.
Mayweather by comfortable decision or even late stoppage if it chooses to go for it. Mayweather should take a page from the Khan book and administer a few well placed hooks to the body on Maidana - it would make his night go a lot easier. |

I hope they have a late start. I just picked up a concert that night that ends at midnight.

I think the general trend over the years has been that the main event on big draw PPVs is later and later. A decade ago they often popped off around 10:30EST, 11 at the latest and now they almost always are close to midnight. |

RE: Mayweather Maidana 2
When is the last time Floyd went for it, why wouldn't he go for it in the first fight? I'm not buying it. I expect to see a ref that helps Floyd a lot and that's why he'll actually win this fight.

I'm going against convention. Maidana in a close but clear win.
