Adrien Broner vs Shawn Porter

If Porter comes out and fights aggressive the way he did against Paulie I think he's got a good shot at stopping Broner in the first half of the fight. Broner has been caught early and dropped before and Porter is explosive and can catch him early as well. Porter may not have the 1 punch power that Maidana has but he has that explosive type power and can land 2-3 power shots in succession which can hurt and drop Broner. Porter seems like the type of dude to finish if he gets you in trouble, so even if he doesn't knock Broner out cold I could see him forcing a referee stoppage.

If the stoppage doesn't come in the first half of the fight I think the fight goes the distance. Broner to me always seems most vulnerable early and takes punches better as the fight goes on and I'm a little concerned about Porter having to make 144 so I don't know how much gas he'll have left in the tank late in the fight.

I still think Porter by decision is the most likely outcome, but would really love to see the KO as many of you have indicated as well.

I LOVE your optimism. Porter's gonna fade around the 6th. The weight will get him.

This is tragic.

If Porter goes 12 close rounds and loses a close decision because he was fatigued then boxing really does deserve to die.

Man, Spence took a round to work out Lo Greco's awkward left hand stance, then walked through him. A guy that went the distance with Porter.

Spence is the entire package. He hits so crisp, shifts weight so well on D, goes to the body well, and is always in the right head space. He just clinically takes his opponents apart. The talk of Broner being the future is BS, Spence Jr would ruin him already!!!

Obviously they are trying to build the Spence Jr vs Thurman fight already! Hoping that both guys keep winning to establish themselves as the elite welters, before it becomes the next super fight!!!

Yeah, Spence Jr needs to take out a couple of decent welters, before taking on Thurman, who is establishing himself as probably the best welter out there other than Manny and Floyd.

Once Floyd and Manny go, these two guys could be a future superfight if they let it simmer.
