Now that Spyder mentioned feminism, but a few days ago it was reported that the traffic lights for pedestrians to 'walk' or 'go' are now possibly going to change so some of them have women as well. A sign of equality.

I don't care what it is, but if it makes a woman feel more empowering to have a woman on the traffic lights, good on them.
Surely they can get the government to spend the money on more important women issues that traffic lights though.
