RE: Juan Manuel Marquez Retires
I had Marquez edging John. I thought he went neck and neck with Bradley also. I always loved Marquez, I thought he was brilliant at what he did, a technical counter puncher. He had tremendous success moving up weights as well, for a feather to be competitive with the elites at welter is something special (bar Mayweather). But then again, that latter run at Welter was when he was no doubt juicing. You don't just all of a sudden get that shredded and acne all over your back at 40!

RE: Juan Manuel Marquez Retires
I felt Marquez was competitive against Bradley but was the clear loser. That was one of the most disciplined performance of Bradley's career.

I haven't watched the fight since then, but I recall Bradley winning the fight easily and not find it close (scoring wise).
