RE: Coronavirus
Here in the States I’m just reading tea leaves.
We are still locked down in NY, but many other states haven’t followed as closely. If other states don’t follow close then a national lockdown won’t happen. The peak shouldn’t be much further away here. Anywhere between 10 and 20 days sounds right. A buddy from work just lost his uncle, another buddy lost his cousin...so I really don’t know what this whole thing is. Is it the end of the world? No, not at all. It’s a virus our bodies don’t know what to do with - right now. My cousins wife and my other cousins daughter are in the covid unit of the hospital not far from me...they say it’ll be bad at it’s peak, but right now it’s manageable. Is this thing a flu or a bad cold? No, not at all. It’s a ton more transmittable, which is the biggest issue. The virus lives a long time without a host. Figure we run the similar trajectory of China overall which puts us at 3 months from major measures - thats where the NBA is looking, and I buy that. |

RE: Coronavirus
Quick tip. You guys should look into the delivery apps. I've been using it for some extra cash. Kinda feels good delivering groceries to old people too.

RE: Coronavirus
WA extended their lockdown orders until May 4th. I don't think people getting fined for disobeying yet, but I hear people in CA and NY are?
All heart. That's what most little guys are. But that counts for a lot. In the gym or the ring all you gotta do is get up one more time than the other guy thinks you can. - Gabrielle Calvocoressi http://www.wanderingpugilist.com |
