Cotto definitely looked fresher late in the fight than in years past. There really wasn't much else that Cotto could do in the fight with Floyd. Only time will be beat Floyd, IMO.

Yep, that's been the biggest improvement, and another reason why I don't put too much stock into the Margarito fight where people were saying that it was a bad stoppage and things were going to get real interesting.
Cotto definitely didn't look dead in the ring with no gas left in his tank. Was he a little tired? Yes, they were entering the championship rounds, but it didn't look like a severe issue and not to mention Cotto won the last round of that fight and finished the round much stronger than Margarito.
His stamina has improved a lot IMO.
