I think Floyd would dominate him but thinking he'd put effort into stopping him is ridiculous. It'd probably look like his fight with Canelo.

I think you severely overestimate the amount of effort it would take.

Floyd would walk him down high guard from jump. It'd be hilarious. McGregor would look like a guy out of a tough guy comp.

McGregor might run, ala Diaz, but Floyd would cut the ring off easily.

He did it all of the time to over-matched opponents. He won't be as actively aggressive as he was in the Gatti fight, but he won't need to be. Connor has no idea what he is doing. He will throw stupid ass punches, and leave himself open the entire time. Floyd would literally have to make the decision that he is not going to hit Connor for the fight to go the distance.
