Yeah, they will be hard to stop for a while, they are in a golden era like Spain was prior to this WC. They probably have 6-8 years of top football ahead of them with the likes of Kroos, Gotze, Muller and Ozil still being early to mid 20s.

Wonder where this leaves the Ballon D'or?

Ronaldo won the Champions League, but Messi led Argentina to a WC final. Other than that, you would have to put a guy like Muller up there with them this year, leading the ranks for Germany and winning the Bundesliga. Even Kroos or Robben could make an appearance in the top 3 for their league and WC performances.
