Gonna be a fucked up rest of the tournament. Brazil winning was the only thing keeping the city from erupting into complete chaos.

You are a bit confusing Snoop. I thought you had been harping on this whole time about the majority of Brazilians wanting their team to lose? Be careful what you wish for I guess!

I think like all things in life, people are conflicted about how they feel. People here LOVE soccer, but they are also very humane and feel a lot of grief for what has happened to this city. As the tournament was going on and Brazil was winning, people started easing up a bit, riding the wave if you will. But once they lost, it's like...well was it worth it? Then the rest of the emotions start flooding in.

I will say that I was in my Jiu-Jitsu dojo today and afterward there some guys in the locker room talking about the game. One dude was like, "4 goals in 6 mins? That doesn't even happen in the video games."

lol

Brazilians have a crazy good sense of humor, but there are also a lot of people that are extremely pissed at what's happened. So who knows...

All heart. That's what most little guys are.
But that counts for a lot. In the gym or
the ring all you gotta do is get up
one more time than the other guy thinks you can.

I bet ChuCha on another site, going with nearly the field against Brazil. I've got Argentina today.

Don't know how much of an "upset" it will be. Brazilians are so disheartened about the Cup right now. They're not even showing it outside my apartment right now. It's actually quiet as fuck when I think about it.

Probably because they expected to win it at home, dude. Then Germany crushed them. The Cup is probably over for Brazilian people after a loss like that at home.

The Netherlands were +225 to win and +125 to win third place. Not much of an upset, but Brazil was still the favorite. I don't know why.

Yeah from what I read, that's like a horrible performance, even worse it happened at home.

Chickens coming home to roost, IMO.

I hope Argentina win this. For some reason, I've never liked the Germans. It's annoying, I probably won't be able to watch the whole game as I have work tomorrow morning and may miss most of it, especially if it has to go into extra time.
I have to support the South American's, I hope they get the job done.
