I have to support the South American's, I hope they get the job done.

Cup needs to stay in the Americas, for all I'm concerned.

All heart. That's what most little guys are.
But that counts for a lot. In the gym or
the ring all you gotta do is get up
one more time than the other guy thinks you can.

A European team has never won it in South America. I'd like to see that change. Put me in the German camp.

Could it be that you don't like Germans because they are condescending and belligerent and because a massively disproportionate number of them are fat middle aged men who like hanging out on Australian beaches in weenie-bikinis while they shamelessly grope their teenage Asian "girlfriends"?

I watched the 2nd half only, I thought kickoff was at 6am here, but woke up and it was half time and missed the first half.
Didn't catch extra time, as I had to leave for work but got updates on the radio on the way to work.
Dammit, wanted the Argentinian's to win. Oh well, this is history as the first non South American team to win it over there.

Can't quote you, Lloyd. Germany was good though. Honestly, they fucking dominated. What odds did you get on them?

And lloyd, I'm sure we're using the word "show" in different ways, and I don't know about "greatest", but you were right in some sense. This past month was one crazy fucking show.

After Brazil beating Chile, Germany demolishing Brazil and now beating Argentina to win the Cup makes me sad.

Very interesting World Cup!

After all said and done, I'm glad this thing is fucking over and things can get back to "normal", which in Rio still means kinda crazy, just not "annoying" crazy.
