Well....we are less than a week away. I'm getting a bit excited about it. I'm really interested to see the character Andy Serkis plays.....Grand General Snoke...or some such shit....I've been hearing rumors that he is HUGE like 30ft tall. But then again I've heard that it is actually Darth Plaugeus mentioned in episode III. Which could be a cool twist.

ALSO....I'm curious how others feel, is this the actual continuation of the story in your mind...or since the original creator is still alive and well and actually had a different story in mind for episodes 7-9.....is this simply Big budget fan fiction? It's an interesting question. I suppose ultimately you have to consider it the actual continuation since Disney bought it will be doing them no matter if we like them or not....but it would be like if Tolken were still alive and WB continued the story of LOTR without his input.....not sure you can consider it an original vision....it does seem like it would be fan fiction.

Lawrence Kasdan wrote The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, as well as The Force Awakens and the upcoming untitled Han Solo flick. So as far as I am concerned, it falls perfectly in-line with the Original Trilogy. It is not fan fiction when the same dude that wrote the originals is continuing the story.
