I have to rewatch it but I remember it being just behind the ear because Wilder leaned forward. I didn’t see anything illegal with it, but I need to see it again.

If I remember correctly, Fury stepped to his right and was perpendicular with Deontays Shoulders. When he threw the straight right it caught Wilder on the lower part of the bacc of his head, right behind the ear. It was a hard shot that wasnt intentional, just the angle both guys were at.

Wilder has been waiting for a loss since he built up a pro career. His technique is bad and he's relied too much on one punch. Sometimes watching him throw his right hand is like watching someone throw a javelin.

1:00 into the video...

Not an illegal blow at all. Side of the head and Wilder was turning when it landed.

I will say that I thought Deontay's leg looked suspicious as the bell rang to end the first round. I can believe there was an injury to it in the way he gingerly turned on it as he went back to his corner.

But I'll also say that every fighter has at least one injury going into any given fight. A hand, a leg, a cut, a rib: there is bound to be one niggly little thing after eight weeks of hard training and sparring. Whether that injury actually caused a loss in performance only the fighter ever knows.

I think Wilder is athletic enough sticc and move for 12 rounds... use lateral movement, pop in and out, keep moving. Simple enough gameplan to learn. Might have to come in a bit lighter. Whether or not it gets him the W is a different story.

he's 34 and has been boxing the same way for years. He aint learning anything. In reality there are very few fighters who do show an ability to learn from previous fights and adjust accordingly, Tyson Fury is one of them, Deontay Wilder isin't.

Wilder cannot move for a round let alone 12.

Forget athleticism. His fundamentals are so fucked he’d look like he was in a fast forward sobriety test.

I will be using that forever.

But I will make sure to credit you.

Bravo, JD.

I don’t know what’s better about this video John Fury’s freakish prediction or the comments section of the video lol
