Agreed, JD. Savour it, because the next heavyweight era might be boring as shit...most of them are.

RE: Deontay Wilder-Tyson Fury II set Feb 22nd 2020!
The Heavyweight division is the current division I have most interest in at the moment! So much charisma, styles, possibilities & yet the division still needs clarity too, which is why this rematch (& 2020) should make a massive impact!
Wilder-Fury II is the best fight at the moment with alot on the line & unfinished business. Clear winner means clear #1 best Heavyweight right here! I'm really starting to believe Tyson Fury is going to legitimately go for the KO here like he says. He can knock Wilder out & he knows it too! As I say that, it may be Fury's best shot to try end it within 12, as he may get stopped this time if he can't be on point for 36 minutes! |

I just want to point out that I am the only one so far who as actually picked Fury to win.

I have Fury on points. No reason to change my pick from the first fight.

How did everyone score the first?
Firsty, I predicted Wilder by KO but scored it 114-112 Fury in a close fight. Rematch I'm still however picking Wilder by KO |

I picked Fury by UD, which it would've been (and actually still should have been) if not for the knockdown in the last round (a round Fury actually won except for the knockdown.) To me I don't think there is anything Wilder can do or could have done to improve in such a short amount of time since his last fight with Fury. Fury, on the other hand, still had a bit of ring rust that he wasn't able to knock off, in my opinion. I think Fury has more room to get better in this fight than Wilder, and I think Fury can make more adjustments than Wilder. To me it's another dominant performance for Fury, as long as he doesn't get caught. (01-17-2020 12:06 PM)JD Wrote: I have Fury on points. No reason to change my pick from the first fight. The first fight reinforced everything I ever believed about both fighters, namely that Wilder would need to win by KO, and that Fury would dominate the scorecards with his herky-jerky movement. As long as Fury wasn’t on his back, he was winning clean.

Did anyone actually score the fight? If so, post your scorecard.

RE: Deontay Wilder-Tyson Fury II set Feb 22nd 2020!
I had Fury 8-4 in rounds, so with the knockdowns he won by two points.
I could just about see a draw but Fury was the moral victor. If the same Fury turns up he wins a wide UD and doesn't get clipped this time. I've heard a few inside rumours before Christmas that he had started to lose his head a bit and go into crazy Tyson mode. If that's true this time Wilder finishes him. If it's not, or if he's buckled down now the rematch is signed, then he's good for revenge. Black |
