All heart. That's what most little guys are. But that counts for a lot. In the gym or the ring all you gotta do is get up one more time than the other guy thinks you can. - Gabrielle Calvocoressi http://www.wanderingpugilist.com |

If they have a 3rd fight, I reckon it would be so cool if Fury came out wearing a Wilder outfit and the proceeds to beat him up again.
Trolls Wilder, and then stops him. That would be awesome. |

It would also be really awesome if Wilder came out and threw bombs spastically until he landed the ko shot.

Thought this was a pretty good breakdown of the costume excuse:
Like I said, even if there is a shred of legitimacy to it, it just makes you and/or your team look like a dumbass for letting this happen in the first place. All heart. Wilders legs were gone due to the perfect shot landed at the end of the 2nd..
Wilder has no idea why his legs were gone, he's just grasping for straws and trying to justify things in his head.. he may really think it was the outfit but he's wrong. |

Wilder should have blamed the 20 pounds of muscle incorrectly put for being slow n weak, instead of his ringwalk costume..

RE: Wilder to Exercise Rematch Clause, Blames Ring Entrance
Look, it's not exactly a secret that Wilder's skinny legs were gonna buckle at some point.
We've all talked about it at length on here, and speculated about the time coming in the future when he catches a shot and his wrist-like spindles can't hold him up. He's managed to avoid it thus far because he has good survival instincts and because his opponents haven't been strong enough or intelligent enough to finish the job. Fury was both. Black |

I think we are over analyzing this.
Fury did some good work to the body, leaned on Wilder when he had no punching room, pushed him back and never stopped for 7 rounds. That’s what happened to Wilder’s legs..Tyson Fury. |

RE: Wilder to Exercise Rematch Clause, Blames Ring Entrance
Wilder is not only a fighter who can't fight/move/circle backwards but not only is his legs skinny, they've always been incredibly weak! Another element that could have added to Deontay's power, along with technique would be to have stronger legs or at the very least better footwork/movement.
It's amazing Wilder has a decent chin.. |
